FSSC 22000 – Food Safety System Certification.
The foundation for food safety certification was established in the year 2004. Thus, based on FSSC 22000 a procedure was developed that is being supported by FoodDrinkEurope. This procedure is intended for auditing and certification of food safety systems for enterprises in the chain of groceries, among other things, also for the production of food packaging materials.
The FSSC 22000 certification procedure has been fully recognized by the executive board of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). And since 2013 we are being audited every year by the inspecting authority TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.
VMV is the registered association of metal packaging industry and is deemed to be mediator between its member companies and the society. The association takes care of the concerns of its members in regard to economic, technical and environmental issues.
